Thank you for your interest in Lynnhaven Nubians. We have been raising Purebred Nubians since 1989, and have achieved what we believe is a lovely, consistent herd of dairy goats. We are on continuous DHIR test, and participate in Linear Appraisal yearly.

Our primary interest has always been in showing. To that end, we were very fortunate to have as our Sr. Herd sire +*B Kastdemur's Crown Explorer. We have many lovely daughters that just keep getting better with age. *B Kastdemur's Meet Dan In Dayton, *B Lynnhaven SQ Gideon, *B Lynnhaven E Summer At Home and Lynnhaven Royal Ambition have been added to replace Explorer.

I believe that creative writing, good pictures and show win reports can turn even a poor animal into a desirable one, and thus try to stick only to the facts. Appraisal scores and DHIR records are listed. I am extremely critical of my own animals, and will quite often tell you everything that I possibly can that is wrong with a doe. I try to present an honest description, as I want to be sure that any animal that is sold bearing our herd name deserves to be there!

Our kids are raised on a CAE preventative program--heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk. We require a $100 deposit on kids ordered, with the balance due within 2 weeks of notification of the birth of your chosen kid.. If the kid is not born, or for some other reason we choose not to offer it for sale (in case of a defect or other unforeseen problem) we will immediately refund your deposit or you may choose to take a replacement kid. We will not refund the deposit for cancellations. All health papers, shipping crate, and cost of shipping are the responsibility of the purchaser. We reserve the right to 20 straws of semen back for any buck sold for the cost of collection. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from marketing semen from your Lynnhaven buck until you have had an opportunity to evaluate daughters in milk.

Brandy died unexpectedly the day after kidding in 2005. She is left here as reference for her daughters who remain in the herd. Brandy had one of the nicest mammaries in the herd. She was from that family of very strong udders. She and I had a personality conflict, so the fact that she was here for so many years is an absolute indication of the strength of that mammary system! Brandy has several RGCH to her credit.

Moonlight belongs to our son Tyler, and what a lovely doe. She has a high, wide rear udder, and is just "all there". She is a little on the small side, as this family can tend to be, but she is a very correct doe who has matured beautifully as evidenced by her appraisal score. She is also the dam of Eclipse (LA90) and a lovely 2005 Full Service yearling. Her sons by Full Service are producing lovely daughters in other herds. This is a breeding that has really worked, and certainly, Full Service, who has been Premier Sire at the ADGA National Show several times needs no introduction.

Eclipse really blossomed this year at 4 Very correct in general appearance, with a nice, capacious mammary to go with it. She earned her first milking leg as a 2 year old, going GCH at the NJ State Fair and then going on to be Best of Breed over 5 finished Champions, including our own Extravaganza and Summer! She was shown in 4 rings this year, and was GCH in 2 of them, finishing her championship.

We were thrilled to have Sally earn her Superior Genetics designation this year. She was a lovely dry yearling, however, when she freshened for the first time, she immediately developed mastitis. Her udder looked very similar to GCH Summer's(her half sister--LA 91)when she first freshened, however she milked for the entire year out of 1/2 of her udder. Even with that, Sally produced an amazing 2015 lbs in her first freshening! She was over 2600 in her second freshening. Sally is very deep as are so many of this line. A great deal of milk in this doe, but with obvious unbalance between the halves of her udder, she is not shown.

Venus is the first milking Dayton daughter that we freshened. She is very correct in general appearance, very dairy, with a lovely mammary. As with her grandmother, Moonlight, she could be larger, but is a very, very correct doe overall.

Gwen is one of our favorite, slow-maturing Explorer daughters. She has matured nicely--look at her appraisal scores. She has a lovely mammary, very wide in the rear, and is very correct in general appearance as well. She has also produced lovely daughters for us, and her son, * B Lynnhaven Liaison's Legacy is producing lovely daughters for the Jordans in Florida. I have repeated that breeding which produced Legacy and Grace (below).

Gypsy is a doe that excels in general appearance. She is long, level and smooth. In addition, she has a lovely mammary to go with it, being smoothly blended in the fore and the rear. Always a lovely doe, she blossomed incredibly this year! She was shown twice and was Best in Show 1X and Best of Breed both times,one of those at the prestigious Eastern States Exposition (Big E) in W. Springfield, MA.

Glory has one of the strongest rear udders of the Explorer daughters. We were exceptionally pleased by that, as we lost both Explorer and Gonda in the same year.I felt that this was truly a fitting name for this doe, who also excels in general appearance and milk production. She finished her GCH very quickly last year, and was 12th place 4 year old at the ADGA National Show. She has at least one Best Udder in Show win to her credit. I am thrilled to have her bred to our 2002 Spotlight Sale Consignement, *B Lynnhaven Prince of Paradise!

Grace is just my kind of goat--long and tall and level. In fact, this year at 2, she is nearly the tallest doe in the barn, perhaps even taller than Paradise. She will take a few years to mature, but I have no doubt she will be well worth the wait. This doe is a personal favorite.

Cajun is the product of a breeding I was dying to try. Her paternal grandsire, Final Explosion is out of Explorer's littermate, Exotic. Cajun has not disappointed. She is incredibly tall and long. As a first freshener, she lacks depth of body and maturity, two things she will gain in coming years. She is already one of the tallest does in the herd at 2.

And what a gift she was--very level, and strong in general appearance with a lovely mammary to go with it, GG reminds me very much of her half sister, GCH Gypsy at this age. GG is also the only daughter of Joshua that we retained, and unfortunately, we lost him unexpectedly to the migrating white tail deer parasite last year. He has produced some absolutely lovely daughters, and I am fortunate to have retained this one!

AJ has lovely general appearance, and a very strong mammary; high and wide with a great deal of overall attachment. She has been a strong member of our winning Sr. Get of Sire for Explorer. She was 1st place 3 year old at the District 2 INBA Specialty, ,and a member of the 1st place Get of Sire there.She is also proving to be a lovely brood doe, as her daughters Pia and Katria are retained in our herd, and her son Ambition is here as well. Another son, Augustus is doing lovely things for ATony and Linda Gilliam in TX.

Extravaganza is one of our complete package does. She finished her permanent championship at 2. She also appraised excellent in mammary. She has a tremendous amount of side attachment as well as a very strong fore and rear udder. I love this doe--she puts it all together in a beautiful package, as evidenced by her appraisal scores.

Emerald is a tall, large doe who is maturing beautifully just as her mother did. This doe has a very strong mammary as do so many of our Explorer daughters. She is the dam of CH Lynnhaven SQ Opal, owned by Tom Justice from Ohio, who was 13th place 2yo at the 2004 ADGA National Show. Opal finished as a 2 year old first freshener last year. Emerald has had some hard luck, this year injuring a hip and being coded "not in condition" by the appraiser. She truly is a favorite of mine, and is proving to be a wonderful brood doe as well. As we lost Sequoia this fall, I have bred her to his son, Gideon, and expect lovely kids from this cross as well.

Paradise finally matured into that big, beautiful doe we waiting for at the age of 3. She is extremely long and tall, milking very well from a capacious, beautifully attached mammary. There is not much I can say about this doe. We sent her to Pueblo, CO to the ADGA National Show with friends in 2002, as we could not make the trip ourselves. We were thrilled to get the call that Paradise had been named Natonal Champion Nubian and Reserve Best Udder! Her son, *B Lynnhaven Prince of Paradise was high selling animal at the 2002 ADGA Spotlight Sale in October of that year.
