Moonlight belongs to our son, Tyler, and what a lovely doe. She has a high, wide rear udder, and is just "all there". She is a little on the small side as this family can tend to be, but has deepened and matured into a beautiful doe as evidenced by her appraisal score.
She broke her leg last year, and after spending 8 weeks in a cast from her elbow to the tip of her toe, the leg did not set properly. As such, she will never be shown again, but continues to produce lovely daughters for us--such as her daughter Eclipse, who appraised 90 this year! |
