| In Just a NY Minute, you'll probably fall in love....just as I have. A son of GCH Kastdemur's Citra 2*M EX 92 EEVE, 2nd place 2004 ADGA 5/6 yr. old Lamancha doe and of the sire of Hammerich's Alex's Zeba, the 1992 ADGA National GCH... one of many Lamancha breeders long-time favorite Lamancha of all time. On his sire's side--Me's Ranch Tessa's Alex is probably best known for his daughter Zeba--who was 1st place 2 year old and 1990 ADGA Reserve National Champion and 1992 ADGA National Champion Lamancha. She was an elegant, correct, long, tall and absolutely beautiful doe with an excellent mammary system. As for his dam's side, you can see many of the reference related animals on the Kastdemur website. He is out of Citra--who has consistently been at the top of the Lamancha line both in CA and at the ADGA National Show for the past 5 years. Citra was 1st place 2 year old, and has been second each successive year. Outstanding in general appearance, structure and balance, with a beautifully attached mammary system. Citra has several daughters, half sisters to Minute, that have appraised and shown well in the Kastdemur herd--Zima and Citrillion. His half brother, Citron, has been retained there as a herd sire. Additionally, Citra has several full sisters that have appraised from VG88 as yearlings to EX92--with most appraising 90 or above! She is out of GCH Sprite, who has several winning daughters--and whose daughters have been 1st place Produce of Dam. Citra's sire, GCH ++*B One*Oak*Hill Medicine Tumult EX 92 has been ADGA National Show Premier Sire 3 different times. Minute has been selected for the ADGA Young Sire Development Program. When Karen told me what buck was coming to be the foundation of our Lynnhaven Lamancha herd, I nearly died...I had seen Citra as a 2 year old in W. Springfield in 2001, and absolutely fell in love! To have her son, and especially one who is so correct and special, is a dream come true. I may have been a Nubian hold out for the longest time, but now that I am a convert, in just a NY Minute you will be seeing those Lynnhaven Lamanchas, and I cannot wait to see them too. And as a million times before, the credit goes to Karen Senn and her daughters and those beautiful, consistent animals they breed and share. |
