Welcome to Lynnhaven Nubians. We have been raising Purebred Nubians since 1989, and have achieved what we believe is a lovely herd of dairy goats. Located in Pine Bush, NY, we are on continuous DHIR, and participate in Linear Appraisal yearly.
Our primary interest is in show. To that end, we were extremely fortunate to have as our Sr. Herdsire +*B Kastdemur's Crown Explorer. Explorer is gone now, but we have many lovely daughters, that just keep getting better with age. Thirteen Explorer daughters averaged 88 in linear appraisal in our herd in 2003, and this year, nine Explorer offspring averaged over 89!! Incredible for an average like that on such a large number of offspring. I am sure his influence will remain with our herd for years to come.
We are very fortunate to have as our new herdsires, *B Kastdemur's EXS Sequoia, *B Kastdemur's Meet Dan In Dayton, *B Lynnhaven E Joshua and Foxwood GC Ichabod Crane. In addition, we have retained 2 junior herdsires, Lynnhaven Royal Ambition, and *B Lynnhaven E Summer At Home. We are excited about these young bucks, and we hope that you will be too. |
